Designated Drivers

Designated Drivers are always welcome on the Bay Breeze Wine Trail, and they are always free.

Guest and resident safety is a prime concern of the founding wineries. In 2016, the vintners launched “Designated Drivers – Bay Breeze Wine Trail VIPs” to promote safe behavior while visiting the tasting rooms along the Bay Breeze Wine Trail. The program includes kits that provide a VIP button, allowing Designated Drivers entrance on wine trail weekends and during regular tasting room hours at no charge, and free non-alcoholic drinks.

Transportation

BBWT encourages all event visitors to seek safe and comfortable transportation through the use of Designated Drivers, Limousine and Shuttle companies. We also value all of our transportation providers and recognize that they provide an extremely valuable service to our visitors.

BBWT is encouraging responsible transportation companies to visit the multiple wineries on the Bay Breeze Wine Trail. As transportation companies are aware, the wineries are held to laws and high standards within the State of Texas and the Counties of Chambers, Harris, Galveston, and Jefferson to maintain an orderly and safe environment where alcoholic beverages are being served.
